Job summary

What You Will Own

• Help technicians and contractors identify the right part and solve product questions in real time, moving fast without sacrificing accuracy
• Enter sales orders, process transactions, and handle returns, credits, and warranty claims
• Keep the front end running cleanly even when volume is high and customers are stacked up
• Assist with stocking, inventory counts, and helping customers load product safely
• Build relationships that bring contractors back, treating every interaction as a chance to earn loyalty, not just close a transaction

You are the first person a contractor sees when they walk in and the last impression they take with them. Your job is to make both count.

Qualifications

• Treats every contractor like a professional relationship worth keeping, not a transaction to close
• Stays calm and clear under pressure when the counter is stacked up and the phone will not stop
• Has the judgment to ask when unsure instead of guessing on a part
• Self-directed, with no need for constant supervision

What You Must Bring

• Experience at a parts counter, supply house, or trades-adjacent environment, required
• Familiarity serving HVAC technicians, refrigeration contractors, mechanics, or similar trade professionals
• Comfort with product lookups, order entry, and fast-paced counter operations
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and move materials safely in a warehouse and counter setting
• Clear, professional, and patient communication under pressure
