Job summary

Tropic Supply, Inc. is seeking a Counter Sales Representative for our Sunrise, Florida location.

You will be the trusted advisor for HVAC technicians, refrigeration contractors, and trade professionals who walk in seeking fast, accurate product knowledge and help with part identification and orders. You will enter sales orders, process transactions, handle returns, credits, and warranty claims, and keep the front end running smoothly during high volume.

Qualifications

• Experience at a parts counter or trades-adjacent environment
• Familiarity serving HVAC technicians, refrigeration contractors, mechanics
• Comfort with product lookups and fast-paced counter operations
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and move materials safely

What You Will Own

• Help technicians and contractors identify the right part and solve product questions in real time, moving fast without sacrificing accuracy
• Enter sales orders, process transactions, and handle returns, credits, and warranty claims
• Keep the front end running cleanly even when volume is high and customers are stacked up
• Assist with stocking, inventory counts, and helping customers load product safely
• Build relationships that bring contractors back, treating every interaction as a chance to earn loyalty, not just close a transaction

You are the first person a contractor sees when they walk in and the last impression they take with them. Your job is to make both count.

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and move materials safely in a warehouse and counter setting
• Clear, professional, and patient communication under pressure
