Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year in electrical industry or knowledge of electrical products.
• Ability to communicate effectively, stay organized, and work in a team.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around a warehouse.
• Basic problem-solving and computer skills.
• EDGE Certification or progress toward EDGE/EPEC Bronze within 18 months.

Job description

• Maintain product knowledge and market and promote new products
• Assist customers during the sales/purchase process
• Respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner
• Assist with warehouse functions as needed on a daily basis
• Assist customers during the sales process using ERP software
• Track and fulfill sales orders by picking orders, creating appropriate documentation, and placing follow-up calls
• Maintain and develop customer relationships
• Generate product stock requests
• Create and maintain positive working relationships
• Help maintain a safe and clean environment

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, as determined by Echo Electric
• A minimum of one year experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products
• Ability to effectively communicate, stay organized and work within a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills
• Completion of EDGE and EPEC Bronze Level or commitment to complete such training within 18 months of starting job assignment
• Ability to assist customers during the sales process using ERP software
• Ability to track and fulfill sales orders by picking orders, creating appropriate documentation, and placing follow-up calls
• Ability to maintain and develop customer relationships
• Ability to stay up to date on product knowledge and generate product stock requests
