Jobtailor is seeking a warehouse-focused professional in Sterling, VA to support datacenter operations. The role involves loading/unloading freight, conducting quality checks, and executing daily inventory tasks to ensure accuracy and readiness of critical parts.

Qualifications

  • Perform quality checks on freight, including part numbers, quantities, and material condition.
  • Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts at the datacenter.
  • Process return shipments of electronic components using warehouse management systems.
  • Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy.
  • Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks according to diagrams and schematics.
  • Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks.
  • Clean work areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to 5S standards.
  • Maintain effective material orders, customer service, inventory management, and material movement requests.
  • Interact with customers and stakeholders on site and build positive working relationships.
  • Adhere daily to safety and process procedures; maintain punctuality, reliability, flexibility, and quality focus.
  • Cross-train in multiple datacenter departments.

Job description
