Job summary

Jobtailor in Sparks, NV is seeking a customer service focused associate to assist walk-in customers, guide product selection, and manage order entry in a fast-paced retail/warehouse setting.

You will be responsible for maximizing sales, ensuring accurate orders, and safely handling inventory while maintaining a clean showroom and branch standards.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work any time within branch hours of operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.
• Learn and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Agree to safety guidelines and comply with all process standards, including wearing personal protective equipment

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales opportunities, create customer loyalty, and exceed customer expectations.
• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, accurate order entry, safely picking product, and safely loading customer vehicles.
• Adapt communication style to differing audiences via email, phone, or in person.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and shipping products.
• Prepare customer backorders and put away received stock.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Perform inventory counts.
• Navigate computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities.
• Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain branch appearance standards.
• Report to the Branch Manager
