Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a knowledgeable Counter Sales Associate to serve plumbing and HVAC contractor customers at our Conyers, GA location. You will advise on products, answer questions, and process transactions with accuracy while delivering outstanding service.

You will work Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM with rotating Saturdays, and earn starting pay of $20/hour, with opportunity for higher pay based on experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years in customer service or sales.
• Experience in plumbing/HVAC preferred.
• Sales-driven with goal orientation.
• Strong communication and consultative selling skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Digital literacy and quick learning.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers at counter, on the phone, and via email to assess needs and provide solutions.
• Provide product expertise in plumbing and HVAC products.
• Drive sales through upselling and cross-selling.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales to support account growth.
• Manage special orders and monitor delivery timelines.
• Maintain a professional, organized counter environment and assist with inventory.
• Follow PPE safety rules and maintain a safe work area.
