Job summary

NorthEast Electrical in Biddeford, ME, is seeking a full-time Counter Sales Associate to provide high-level customer service and assist with store operations. The role includes taking orders by phone, in-person, and through digital tools, maintaining stock and assisting customers with online ordering.

The successful candidate will help with warehousing tasks, promotions, and showroom displays, while working a Monday–Friday schedule and earning $23–$25 per hour plus commissions.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills with emphasis on Excel and website navigation.
• Strong customer service/communication skills, electrical or construction background is helpful.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 lbs using manual and PIT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Take orders over the phone, in person, and via our Digital Tools.
• Enter stock, special, direct, and back orders as required.
• Provide customers with information and demonstrations of our online ordering solution.
• Support the Branch Manager in transferring, warehousing, receiving, and shipping of stock and special material.
• Display and stock material in counter and showroom; participate in promotions.
• Perform other duties as required or directed by Manager.
