NorthEast Electrical, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a full-time Counter Sales Associate for our Biddeford, ME location. Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-4pm. Salary range $23-$25 per hour plus commission.

You will provide retail and professional customer service, maintain store appearance, and assist with stock and promotions. Counter Sales Rep at NorthEast Electrical is the ideal position for a person who has a passion for taking care of customers. As a Counter Sales Representative, you will provide retail and professional customers with a high level of customer service; as well as maintaining the appearance of the store and ensuring it is displayed in a clean and organized manner.

What a typical day looks like in this role:

• Taking orders over the phone, in person, and via our Digital Tools.
• Entering stock, special, direct, and back orders as required.
• Providing customers with information and demonstration of our online solution for fast and easy ordering through our website.
• Providing support to the Branch Manager in the transferring, warehousing, receiving, and shipping of stock and special material.
• Display and stock material in counter and show room. Participate in promotions as they occur.
• Performing other duties as required or directed by Manager.

What we are looking for you to bring us:

• Strong computer skills with emphasis on Excel and Website navigation.
• Strong customer service/communication skills, electrical or construction is helpful.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes.
• Dependable and a strong work ethic
• The ability to work in a team setting
• The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75lbs using manual and PIT Equipment.
