Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders and related information into company computer systems
• Maintain accurate and organized paperwork and records
• Meet company standards for order accuracy and customer service
• Assist with loading customer orders and preparing products for pickup
• Safely operate material-handling equipment as required
• Lift and move products and materials as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store and warehouse environment
• Assist with annual inventory counts
• Cross train in additional branch responsibilities as needed
• Complete other duties as assigned

Job description

Tri State Distributors is currently seeking a dependable and customer-focused Store Clerk to join our Wetumpka, ALbranch. This position plays an important role in supporting customers, processing orders accurately, assisting with product needs, and helping maintain an organized and efficient branch operation.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with customers, using a computer to enter and process orders, and assisting with warehouse and product-handling responsibilities as needed. Previous experience in wholesale distribution, building materials, HVAC, manufactured housing, or a related industry is preferred but not required. This position offers the opportunity to cross train in other areas of the branch and develop skills that can lead to future advancement within Tri State Distributors.
