Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy materials (up to 100 pounds with assistance).
• General knowledge of building and HVAC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete sales order process for customers.
• Service walk-in and telephone customers' needs.
• Manage customer relationships inside the store.
• Represent the company courteously to customers.
• Maintain orderly paperwork and meet accuracy standards.
• Operate material handling equipment safely.
• Help with annual inventory.

Tri State Distributors is currently seeking a courteous, customer service-oriented person to work the HVAC Inside Counter Sales at our Greenville, SC branch. The candidate will be cross trained in other areas. Computer knowledge a must to enter customer orders. Experience in the wholesale industry is a plus. This is an entry level position that could lead to future advancement opportunities within Tri State Distributors.

Established in 1983, Tri State Distributors has expanded to cover the southeastern United States as one of the leading suppliers serving the LP gas, HVAC and Manufactured Housing industries. Monday-Friday work week. Hours may vary because of business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Complete sales order process for customers
• Service walk-in and telephone customers' needs
• Managing customer relationships inside the store
• Represent company in a courteous and respectful manner when speaking to customers.
• Maintaining orderly paperwork
• Meeting company accuracy standards
• Talks with customers by phone and receives orders for mobile home products & supplies.
• Operating material handling equipment safely while loading products
• Able to load heavy materials onto trucks (up to 100 pounds)
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Help with annual inventory
• Completing other duties as assigned
