Job summary

BrightView Health in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Counselor to join our treatment team and support individuals on their recovery journey. You will provide counseling, conduct intake assessments, and contribute to treatment planning to guide client progress.

Responsibilities include leading group therapy, applying crisis de-escalation techniques, documenting in the electronic health record, and coordinating care with an onsite, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure consistent with state requirements.
• Bachelor's degree required; 2 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience in addiction therapy or treatment settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments.
• Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques.
• Assist with treatment planning and progress monitoring.
