Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care seeks an Employee Assistance Program professional to provide confidential counseling and support to employees and dependents. Qualifications

  • Master's degree in mental health, counseling, social work, or addiction field required.
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with TN, MS, or AR licensure required.
  • Substance Abuse Professional designation and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to employees and dependents to facilitate problem resolution.
  • Support client company managers and supervisors to meet service expectations.
  • Coordinate on-site events for client companies and improve program utilization.
  • Maintain a case management system following program policies to ensure continuity of care.
  • Contribute to development of program policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate Critical Stress Incident Management to meet customer needs.
  • Complete assigned goals in support of department priorities.

Under the direct supervision of the Director of the Employee Assistance Program. Responsible for 1 shift, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week emergency rotation as assigned. Incumbents are subject to overtime and callback as required by BMHCS. Assists with Critical Incident Stress debriefings, health fairs, and orientations as needed.

  • Participates in the development of program policies and procedures by contributing ideas and actions to promote improved EAP product and services.
  • Provides coordination of Critical Stress Incident Management to meet customer needs.
  • Provides on-site events for client companies by responding to their requests to deliver expected programs and presentations and creating opportunities to increase utilization.
  • Completes assigned goals and responsibilities in support of department and organizational priorities
Experience Description

Minimum Required - Master's degree in mental health, counseling, social work, or addiction related field.

Education Description

Preferred/Desired - Mental health education.

Minimum Required - Master's degree in mental health, counseling, social work or addiction related field.

Special Skills Description

Preferred/Desired - Substance Abuse Professional designation. Critical Incident Stress Debriefing certificate.

Licensure Description

Minimum Required - Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Licensure in TN, MS, and/or AR required.
