Description:

Provides direct support to organizations and their employees through assessment, consultation, education, and triage services. Uses knowledge of federal regulations to assist organizations in appropriate handling of employee concerns and problems. Consults with employees on workplace and work-based issues. Provides clinical expertise to restore employees with diminished performance to healthy functioning.

Essential Functions:

1. Provides employee consultation related to personal problems and concerns. Offers crisis assessment and intervention as needed. Completes clinical and administrative documentation clearly and concisely. Manages caseload and tasks to meet performance expectations.
2. Provides behavioral health assessments and expert consultation to employees and/or supervisors on workplace issues. Offers information and referral to community resources as appropriate.
3. Participates in activities aimed at improving performance.
4. Supports team members and participates in team activities to build a high-performance team. Demonstrates flexibility in job duties and schedule to better serve members and help Magellan achieve its goals.
