Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced behavioral health clinician in the United States to provide direct support, crisis intervention, and EAP services within organizational settings. The role requires an independent license (LCSW-C, LCSW, LMHC, LPCC, or LPC) and a Master’s degree in Behavioral Health, with at least five years of post-degree clinical experience.

The candidate will consult on workplace issues, conduct assessments, and deliver trainings while maintaining caseloads and documentation

Qualifications

  • Must hold a master's degree in Behavioral Health.
  • Currently independently licensed as a behavioral health clinician (LCSW-C, LCSW, LMHC, LPCC, or LPC).
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience after graduation.
  • Understanding of EEO rules, ADA in the workplace, FMLA, and Drug Free Workplace requirements.
  • Ability to assess client risk, substance use, and job performance issues.
  • Ability to refer clients to appropriate levels of care.
  • Crisis intervention skills and solution-focused therapy expertise.
  • Excellent training and listening skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct critical incident response services, EAP assessments, short-term counseling, EAP orientations, customer webinars, and health and wellness trainings
  • Manage caseload and complete timely case documentation to meet performance expectations
  • Provide information and referrals to appropriate levels of care and community resources
  • Identify operational challenges and inefficiencies and recommend continuous improvement plans
  • Adhere to contract requirements, performance standards and company policies

Job description

  • Provide direct support to organizations and employees through assessment, consultation, education and triage services
  • Use knowledge of federal regulations to assist organizations with employee concerns and problems
  • Consult with employees and organizations on personal, workplace and management issues
  • Provide clinical expertise to restore employees with diminished performance to healthy functioning
  • Conduct critical incident response services, EAP assessments, short-term counseling, EAP orientations, customer webinars, and health and wellness trainings
  • Manage caseload and complete timely case documentation to meet performance expectations
  • Provide information and referrals to appropriate levels of care and community resources
  • Participate in activities that improve SBU and/or client performance, excellence and culture
  • Identify operational challenges and inefficiencies and recommend continuous improvement plans
  • Analyze and present issues clearly and persuasively, verbally and in writing
  • Develop effective working relationships across organizational lines and support team activities and trainings
  • Maintain current skills and techniques and take responsibility for professional development
  • Adhere to contract requirements, performance standards, meetings, trainings, standard operating procedures and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience after receiving the graduate degree
  • Clinical training must include instruction on chemical dependency, mental health and brief therapy
  • Understanding of workplace issues, business functions, and employee/employer relationships
  • Ability to acquire understanding of EEO rules, ADA in the workplace, FMLA, and Drug Free Workplace Requirements
  • Ability to provide accurate client assessments, including level of risk, substance abuse and dependency, and job performance issues
  • Ability to refer clients to the appropriate level of care
  • Competence in crisis intervention
  • Knowledge and expertise in solution-focused, brief therapy in an outpatient setting
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent training and listening skills
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels within the company and with external customers
  • Ability to adjust to new situations and changing priorities
  • Comfort with ambiguity and stress while handling a variety of assignments
  • Current licensure required for this position meeting State, Commonwealth or customer-specific requirements
  • Must be an independently licensed behavioral health clinician
  • Required license options include LCSW-C, LCSW, LMHC, LPCC, or LPC
  • Master's degree in Behavioral Health required
