Job summary

Relativity seeks a Counsel, Commercial Transactions to advise on contracting for software, SaaS, cloud services and AI offerings. You will partner with sales, finance, security, IT, and compliance to negotiate high-volume contracts and strategic partnerships that drive business initiatives.

You will apply legal tech tools, manage risk, and help optimize processes and standard forms. JD required; US bar; remote/hybrid work in the US.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
• 4–6 years of in-house and/or law firm experience in technology transactions.
• Experience negotiating SaaS, cloud services, data processing and enterprise agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for software, SaaS, hybrid/cloud services, and AI-related offerings.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, security, IT and compliance to deliver contracts.
• Provide proactive legal advice on commercial and operational matters.
• Suggest process improvements and standard forms to improve efficiency.
• Leverage AI legal tech tools and MS Office to support workflows.
