Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Counsel, Commercial Transactions to support its commercial contracting function and strategic business initiatives. You will lead negotiations for software, SaaS, cloud services, and AI offerings while drafting and negotiating key commercial agreements.

You will advise internal stakeholders on legal and business issues, drive process improvements, and collaborate with Sales, Finance, Security, IT, and Compliance teams. A JD and US bar membership are required.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar license in the United States.
• Minimum 4–6 years of in-house or law firm experience in technology transactions.
• Experience negotiating SaaS, software, cloud services, and enterprise agreements.
• Strong understanding of AI-enabled products and related tech issues.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for software, SaaS, cloud services, and AI offerings.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with stakeholders.
• Advise internal teams on contractual and regulatory issues.
• Improve processes and standard forms to boost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Security, and Compliance teams.
• Support pricing initiatives and governance related to contracts.
• Utilize AI legal tools and familiar with MS Office, Salesforce, Ironclad.
