Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join Civita Care Center Bayview in Waterford, CT. You will provide hands-on OT services in a skilled nursing setting under the supervision of an OT.

The role offers hourly pay of $35–$38, flexible PRN scheduling, and opportunities for referral bonuses; new graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Occupational Therapy Assistant license and COTA certification.
• Ability to deliver individualized treatment under an established OT plan of care.
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment outlined by the supervising Occupational Therapist, connecting each session to residents' functional goals.
• Help residents practice personal care tasks and develop techniques for managing daily routines.
• Use prescribed exercises and activities to improve coordination, upper-extremity function, and activity tolerance.
• Reinforce safe use of adaptive equipment and strategies that support independence.
• Update the OT on residents' progress, treatment responses, and changing assistance needs.
• Complete accurate session notes and collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to support consistent care.

Make daily activities a meaningful part of resident recovery. Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Civita Care Center Bayview in Waterford, CT, providing hands‑on occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing rehabilitation setting.

What You'll Do
