Job summary

Civita Care Center at Newington in Newington, CT is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time role to join the rehabilitation team. You will provide OT treatments under supervision and help residents improve daily living skills and independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, strengthening, coordination, balance, and functional tasks.
• Carry out individualized treatment programs established by the supervising OT.
• Observe resident progress and communicate changes or concerns to the therapy team.
• Reinforce adaptive techniques and strategies that promote safety and independence.
• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with OT, PT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Post Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Civita Care Center at Newington. What You’ll Do
