Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants seeks a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for Autumn Lake at Ocean View in Ocean View, NJ. You will implement OT plans, guide residents in self-care, and provide targeted exercises to improve upper-extremity function and task tolerance.

Join a rehab team, document progress, and collaborate with nurses and other therapists. PRN hours fleksible to facility coverage needs, with strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy Assistant license and COTA certification.
• Ability to follow individualized treatment plans with resident safety in focus.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
• New graduates welcome; SNF experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement the OT's treatment plan through activities matched to residents' goals.
• Coach residents in self-care tasks, including dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting.
• Provide prescribed exercises and activities that support upper-extremity function and coordination.
• Reinforce adaptive equipment techniques and strategies for safe routines.
• Share observations with the supervising OT about progress and responses.
• Complete clear session notes and coordinate with nursing and rehab colleagues.

Autumn Lake at Ocean View | Ocean View, NJ
$35–$40/hour | PRN

Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Autumn Lake at Ocean View. Help residents receiving skilled nursing rehabilitation gain confidence with personal care and daily activities through practical treatment guided by the supervising Occupational Therapist.

What You'll Do

• Implement the OT's treatment plan through activities matched to each resident's functional goals.

• Coach residents in self-care tasks, including dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting.

• Provide prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities that support upper-extremity function, coordination, and activity tolerance.

• Reinforce adaptive equipment techniques and strategies for completing routines safely.

• Share observations about assistance needs, progress, and treatment responses with the supervising OT.

• Complete clear session notes and work with nursing and rehab colleagues to encourage carryover of skills.
