Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work at Vantage Health in Wakefield, MA. You will work with residents and under OT supervision to turn goals into daily achievements through tailored sessions.

Role requires MA OTA license and COTA certification; new grads welcome. Expect flexible PRN scheduling and a collaborative rehab team with leadership support.

Stern Therapy Consultants is looking for a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Vantage Health in Wakefield, MA. Work alongside the Occupational Therapist to help skilled nursing residents turn treatment goals into everyday accomplishments, with sessions tailored to their abilities and recovery needs.

What You’ll Do

• Implement the supervising OT's treatment plan through purposeful activities and self-care practice.

• Assist residents with developing skills for dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting.

• Lead prescribed therapeutic activities that support upper-extremity function, coordination, and tolerance for daily tasks.

• Reinforce adaptive equipment use and compensatory techniques outlined in the plan of care.

• Report changes in resident performance, participation, or treatment tolerance to the OT.

• Document services promptly and share relevant care strategies with nursing and rehabilitation staff.
