Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support a skilled nursing facility in Holyoke, MA. You’ll work with residents recovering from illness or injury, helping them participate in daily activities under OT plans.

Strong communication and timely documentation are essential to collaborate with the rehab team. This PRN role offers flexibility with a patient-centric team, ongoing support from regional leadership, and opportunities for referrals.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts COTA license is required.
• Strong communication and timely documentation skills are essential.
• Skilled nursing experience is a plus.

Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a PRN COTA to support the rehab team at a skilled nursing facility in Holyoke. You'll work with residents recovering from illness or injury, as well as those managing longer-term needs, to help them participate in everyday activities.

What You’ll Do

• Provide treatment under plans established by a supervising Occupational Therapist

• Help residents practice dressing, grooming, toileting, and other daily tasks

• Use therapeutic activities and adaptive strategies suited to each resident’s abilities

• Report changes in performance to the OT and collaborate with nursing and the rehab team

• Document treatment and resident progress after each session
