Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants in Sharon, MA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a flexible PRN opportunity. You will provide occupational therapy under supervision and help residents strengthen everyday skills toward greater independence.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $35–$38, PRN scheduling, a collaborative rehabilitation environment, and exposure to short-term rehab and long-term care caseloads.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts COTA license required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required.
• New graduate COTAs are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist with activities of daily living, strengthening, coordination, balance, and functional tasks.
• Follow individualized treatment programs established by the supervising therapist.
• Monitor resident response and communicate progress to the clinical team.
• Reinforce adaptive techniques and safety strategies.
• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation and interdisciplinary team members.
