Job summary

Hemet Hills Post-Acute in Hemet, CA is seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our compassionate therapy team. We offer part-time and full-time opportunities to help residents regain independence and improve daily living skills.

As a COTA, you will implement treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, document progress, educate residents and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Active COTA license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain during orientation.
• Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute, or rehabilitation setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist residents in improving mobility, self-care, and functional abilities.
• Document resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team.
• Educate residents and families throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy teams to promote positive outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.
