Job summary

Hemet Hills Post-Acute in Hemet, California, is seeking motivated and caring Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our therapy team. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities in a supportive interdisciplinary environment focused on helping residents regain independence through personalized treatment plans.

As a COTA, you will implement plans under a licensed OT, document progress, educate residents and families, and collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to promote

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher from an accredited OTA program.
• Active COTA license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute rehab preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed OT.
• Assist residents in improving mobility, self-care, and functional abilities.
• Document resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team.
• Provide education and support to residents and families throughout rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other team members to promote positive outcomes.
