Job summary

Hemet Hills Post-Acute is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our compassionate, multidisciplinary team in Hemet Hills Post-Acute. You will implement treatment plans, assist residents with mobility and daily living activities, and document progress under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

We offer both part-time and full-time opportunities with competitive pay ($36–$44 per hour, DOE).

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current, active COTA license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute, or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents in improving mobility, self-care, and functional abilities.
• Document resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team.
• Provide education and support to residents and families throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes.
