Job summary

Hemet Hills Post-Acute in Hemet, CA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. You will implement treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and help residents regain independence and daily living skills.

Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities are available, with pay between $36 and $44 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Current, active COTA license in good standing.
Current CPR certification or ability to obtain during orientation.
Experience in a skilled nursing, post-acute, or rehab setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Assist residents in improving mobility, self-care, and functional abilities.
Document resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team.
Provide education and support to residents and families throughout the rehabilitation process.
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes.
Maintain compliance with all facility, state, and federal regulations.
