Job summary

Hemet Hills Post-Acute is seeking motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our therapy team in Hemet, California. This role supports residents by implementing treatment plans and promoting independence under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in OTA program.
• Active COTA license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents in improving mobility, self-care, and functional abilities.
• Document resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team.
• Provide education and support to residents and families throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all facility, state, and federal regulations.

Position Summary

As a COTA, you will work closely with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to implement treatment plans designed by Occupational Therapists. Your role will be instrumental in helping residents regain independence, improve daily living skills, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
