Job summary

Hemet Hills Post-Acute in Hemet, CA is seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) for full-time or part-time roles. Join a compassionate team dedicated to helping residents regain independence and improve daily living skills.

You will implement therapy plans, document progress, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a post-acute skilled nursing setting. California licensure and CPR are required; prior SNF experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher from an accredited OTA program.
• Current, active COTA license in good standing.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain during orientation.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under the supervision of an OT.
• Assist residents in mobility, self-care, and daily living activities.
• Document progress and communicate updates to the therapy team.
• Provide education and support to residents and families.
• Collaborate with nursing and other disciplines to optimize outcomes.
