Palmetto Subacute Care Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver best-practice treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The COTA will follow OT-defined goals and provide feedback through required documentation, ensuring patient-centered care for residents.

Ideal candidates have a valid license/registration and experience in long-term or geriatric care, plus strong documentation skills and reliability in timely progress notes.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care/geriatric care is preferred.
• Well-versed in documentation writing and weekly progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatments under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Document patient progress in weekly progress notes.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours.
