Palmetto Subacute Care Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Florida. The COTA will administer treatment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, following specific goals and policies. Documentation of progress and timely communication with the supervising OT are required.

Excellent patient care and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are essential. Equal opportunity employer. Shifts: all positions available.

Formación

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care preferred.
• Well-versed in documentation writing.
• Document patient progress in a timely fashion.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out best practice treatments under supervision of the OT.
• Provide treatment aligned with goals developed by the OT.
• Provide feedback to supervising OT via documentation per facility policy.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
