Job summary

Flagstar Rehab in New York seeks Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) for Skilled Nursing Facilities. We offer a flexible "choose the way you earn" model with quick interviews and remote onboarding to help you start smoothly. You will work with facilities daily, ensuring clear updates and steady referrals to SNF opportunities.

Licensed NYS OTA with BLS and EMR proficiency will thrive in our team, with options for Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem work and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Current NYS OTA License and Registration.
• Valid BLS Certification.
• EMR competence; REHAB OPTIMA and POINT CLICK CARE a plus.
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility.
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with OT Supervisor and follow established Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to SNF residents with TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson's, MS, cancer, orthopedic surgeries and related diagnoses.
• Monitor and document patient progress.

Hourly Pay Rate

$34-$36 Hourly (W-2), $38-$40 Hourly (1099)

Occupational Therapy Assistant Requirements and Responsibilities

• Current NYS OTA License and Registration
• Valid BLS Certification
• EMR Competence (Proficiency in REHAB OPTIMA + POINT CLICK CARE a plus!)
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance (if applicable)

• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.
• Monitor and document patient progress
