Job summary

Withum is seeking an experienced Cost Segregation Senior Manager/Principal to lead a national practice from any East or West Coast office. You will guide strategy, expand client relationships, and build scalable processes while mentoring a team of professionals.

The role requires deep cost segregation expertise, leadership ability, and a track record of business development within a professional services environment. Strong communication and strategic thinking are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Master's degree, MBA, CPA, or other relevant professional credential preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in cost segregation, tax consulting, engineering-based tax services, or related field.
• Proven experience leading and growing a professional services practice or business unit.
• Demonstrated expertise in cost segregation methodologies, tangible property regulations, and depreciation strategies.
• Strong business development experience with a track record of generating revenue growth.
• Experience building, mentoring, and managing teams.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and client communication skills.
• Experience developing operational processes and implementing best practices.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership across multiple geographic markets.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing a national growth strategy for Cost Segregation services.
• Collaborating with regional, industry, and national leadership teams to identify and prioritize market opportunities.
• Driving expansion and penetration within strategic tax clients and target markets.
• Partnering with Tax Partners and Client Service Leaders to position Withum for success in competitive opportunities.
• Maintaining active participation in business development initiatives, including pipeline management and opportunity tracking.
