Job summary

L&R is the largest distributor and the 6th largest purchaser of cosmetics in the United States. We distribute over 40,000 items through 3 regional warehouses in Arkansas, New Jersey, and Nevada.

We are seeking a part-time to full-time Field Merchandiser to service retail stores within the Rutland, VT region and neighboring areas, implementing planograms and maintaining stock on shelves.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Familiarity with resets, planograms and store footage is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory control knowledge are a plus.
• Ability to safely use a ladder or step stool to access higher fixtures.
• Ability to conduct physical work, frequently lifting up to 50lbs.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for inventory using a tablet and scanner (Repsly).
• Service store routes and coordinate with the District Manager.
• Execute store visit process and document with photos.
• Implement planograms to reset cosmetic displays per instructions.
• Ensure resets meet standards and timelines.
• Install shelving and fixtures as per planograms.
• Process returns per guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of promos, invoicing, and returns.
• Communicate with Store Management and Associates.
• Inspect shipments and verify with store personnel.
• Conduct store surveys and audits with photos.
• Support additional stores as needed.
