Job summary

L&R is the largest distributor serving retailers with 40,000+ items across cosmetics, toys, and more. We need a Field Merchandiser to service retail stores in the West, Central, and East regions, ensuring products are stocked, displayed, and reset according to planograms.

The role covers Brunswick, Yarmouth, Topsham, Lewiston, and Auburn, with up to 10 hours weekly. Work between 6 AM–5 PM, with 8 PM deadline. Part-time to full-time with benefits eligible after transition.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience required.
• Familiarity with resets, planograms and store footage is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory control knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to safely use a ladder or step stool to access higher fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for required inventory using company tablet and scanner (Repsly).
• Service store routes per call frequencies with District Manager.
• Follow store visit process, merchandising delivery, and task forms.
• Implement planograms and schematics to reset cosmetic displays per instructions.
• Ensure resets meet L&R standards and project timelines.
• Install and adjust shelving, hooks, and fixtures per planogram specs.
• Process returns per L&R guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, invoicing, exchanges, and returns.
• Communicate with Store Management and Store Associates.
• Keep display cases and shelves clean and organized.
• Conduct store surveys and audits as requested, including photos.
