Job summary

L&R is the largest distributor and the 6th largest purchaser of cosmetics in the United States, distributing 40,000+ items through 3 regional warehouses. The Field Merchandiser ensures products are stocked, organized, and displayed across assigned retail locations, supporting store resets and planogram implementation in multiple territories.

The role requires merchandising familiarity, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and proficiency with tablets.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Familiarity with resets, planograms and store footage is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory control knowledge is a plus.
• Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for inventory using company tablet and scanner (Repsly).
• Service store routes per call frequencies with District Manager.
• Follow store visit process and merchandising deliveries from previous orders.
• Implement planograms and cosmetic resets per instructions.
• Ensure displays meet company and retailer standards and timelines.
• Install/adjust shelving and fixtures to match planograms.
• Process returns per guidelines and maintain invoicing knowledge.
• Maintain communication with Store Management and Associates.
• Conduct store surveys/audits and take photos as needed.
• Service additional stores as needed.
