Job summary

L&R Distributors, Inc. seeks a Field Merchandiser to ensure cosmetics and related items are stocked, organized, and displayed across assigned retail locations in the Danbury area.

You will implement planograms, restock shelves, and coordinate with store management to meet company and retailer standards. Hours are up to 8 per week with potential to transition to full-time after 60 days if performance remains strong.

Qualifications

• Retail merchandising or related experience required.
• Experience with resets and planograms preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Place inventory orders using a company tablet and Repsly.
• Serve store routes according to assigned call frequencies.
• Follow store visit process and document with photos.
• Implement planograms and resets to meet company/retailer standards.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, invoicing, exchanges, and returns.
• Communicate professionally with store staff and management.
• Conduct store surveys/audits and photograph departments.
• Assist additional stores as needed.
