Job summary

L&R DISTRIBUTORS in Rutland, VT is seeking a Field Merchandiser to service regional retail stores. The role covers stocking, organizing, and displaying products, and implementing store resets with new planograms to meet company and retailer standards.

This part-time to full-time position offers up to 10 hours weekly with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Mileage reimbursement and paid drive time are included; part-time benefits apply, with potential transition to full-time after meeting 30+ hours

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Familiarity with resets, planograms and store footage is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory control knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to safely use a ladder or step stool to access higher fixtures, signage, and products on elevated shelves.
• Ability to conduct physical work, frequently lifting up to 50lbs.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for required inventory using a tablet and scanner with Repsly.
• Serve store routes according to the assigned call frequencies, working closely with the District Manager.
• Implement planograms and schematics to reset cosmetic displays, fixtures, and sections according to provided planograms and instructions.
• Install and adjust shelving, hooks, and fixtures as needed to align with planogram specifications.
• Process customer returns associated with resets following L&R’s returns & reclamation guidelines.
