Job summary

L&R Distributors, Inc. is seeking a Field Merchandiser to service retail stores in Columbus, OH and surrounding regions.

This part-time to full-time role involves stocking, organizing, and displaying products, implementing new planograms, and ensuring shelves meet company and retailer standards. You will work up to 30 hours weekly with flexible hours between 6 AM and 5 PM, and potential for full-time conversion after 60 days if performance meets the target.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience is required.
• Familiarity with resets, planograms and store footage is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory control knowledge is advantageous.
• Ability to safely use a ladder or step stool to access higher fixtures.
• Physical work, frequently lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for inventory using a company tablet and scanner.
• Service store routes and work with the District Manager.
• Follow store visit processes and document tasks with photos.
• Implement planograms and resets to match provided instructions.
• Maintain displays per standards and timelines.
• Install shelving and fixtures as needed.
• Process returns per company guidelines.
• Stay informed on promotions, invoicing, and policy changes.
• Communicate with store staff after each visit.
• Audit and photograph assigned departments as requested.
