Job summary

L&R Distributors, Inc. is seeking a Field Merchandiser to service retail stores across multiple regions, ensuring products are well stocked and displayed. You will support store resets, implement planograms, relocate products, and ensure displays meet company and retailer standards.

Territories include Fort Wayne, IN and nearby areas with up to 25 hours per week. Pay is $15 per hour, with opportunities to transition to full-time after meeting weekly hour thresholds and eligible benefits for

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Familiarity with resets, planograms and store footage is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory control knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to safely use a ladder or step stool to access higher fixtures, signage, and products on elevated shelves.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for inventory using a company tablet and scanner leveraging Repsly.
• Service store routes according to the assigned call frequencies, cooperating with the District Manager.
• Follow a store visit process including merchandising delivery, task forms, photos, and stock maintenance.
• Accurately implement planograms and schematics to reset displays, fixtures, and sections.
• Ensure resets are completed according to L&R standards and timelines.
• Install and adjust shelving, hooks, and fixtures to match planograms.
• Process customer returns following returns and reclamation guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and invoicing/returns policies.
• Communicate with Store Management and Store Associates during visits.
• Conduct store surveys and audits with photos to document issues.
