Job summary

L&R Distributors, Inc. is seeking a Field Merchandiser to service retail stores across multiple territories, including Reading, PA. The role is part-time to full-time with hours up to 25 per week, typically 6 AM to 5 PM and a late drop-off with approval.

Responsibilities include stocking, organizing, displaying products, executing planograms, and supporting store resets. Benefits include 401(k) options and potential full-time conversion after meeting weekly hours.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Familiarity with resets and planograms.
• Retail sales and inventory knowledge a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for inventory using a tablet and scanner.
• Service store routes per assigned call frequencies with District Manager.
• Follow store visit process and merchandising deliveries tied to orders.
• Implement planograms and resets to align with instructions.
• Install and adjust shelving and fixtures per planogram specs.
• Process returns per company policies and guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, invoicing, exchanges, and returns.
• Communicate professionally with Store Management and Associates.
• Conduct store surveys and photos to document issues.
