Job summary

L&R Distributors, the largest cosmetics distributor, seeks a Field Merchandiser to service retail stores across multiple regions. You will ensure shelves are stocked, displays organized, and planograms implemented.

This role supports store resets, relocates products, and maintains retailer standards. Prior merchandising or retail experience is preferred, with comfort using tablets and smartphones and driving with a registered vehicle.

Qualifications

• Merchandising or retail experience required.
• Familiarity with resets and planograms preferred.
• Retail sales and inventory knowledge a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and registered vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for inventory using tablet and scanner.
• Service store routes with the District Manager.
• Follow store visit process, capture photos, and update stock.
• Implement planograms and resets per instructions.
• Ensure resets meet standards and timelines.
• Install shelving and fixtures per planograms.
• Process returns following guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of promos, invoicing, exchanges.
• Communicate with store staff after visits.
• Verify shipments with store personnel.
