Job summary

L&R DISTRIBUTORS is seeking a Field Merchandiser to service retail stores in Fort Wayne, IN and surrounding areas. The role supports resets, sets shelves, and ensures displays meet company standards during 6 AM–5 PM hours with a late drop-off window.

Part-time to full-time, with travel across territories and mileage reimbursement. The position emphasizes customer service, stocking, and accurate execution of planograms using a company-provided tablet and Repsly software.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Familiarity with resets, planograms and store footage is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory control knowledge are a plus.
• Ability to safely use a ladder or step stool to access higher fixtures.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for required inventory using a tablet and scanner with Repsly.
• Service store routes per call frequencies, coordinating with the District Manager.
• Follow store visit processes, merchandise delivery from previous orders, and filling out task forms.
• Accurately implement planograms and schematics to reset cosmetic displays and fixtures.
• Ensure resets meet company standards and timelines.
• Install and adjust shelving, hooks, and fixtures per planogram specs.
• Process returns per guidelines and maintain knowledge of promotions and invoicing.
• Maintain communication with Store Associates at each visit.
• Verify shipments with store personnel and manage store visits.
• Provide professional communication with Store Management and staff.
• Keep display cases clean and organized; perform store surveys as requested.
• Support additional stores when needed.
