Job summary

Pratt Cedar Hill is seeking a Corrugator Supervisor to lead a team of about ten operators in daily production of quality corrugated board. The role requires ensuring safety, efficiency and minimal waste while maintaining production standards set by management.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, managing inventories and coordinating with maintenance to keep the line running smoothly. Preferred candidates have corrugated industry experience and at least two years of supervisory work history.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years supervisory experience.
• Preferred: prior work experience in the corrugated industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervise approximately ten people in daily production of quality corrugated board in a safe, productive manner with minimal waste.
• Maintain quality, efficiencies, and production levels set by management; communicate standards to staff.
• Report quality concerns to Plant Superintendent and assist in defining quality guidelines.
• Build engagement and maintain high morale; ensure fairness, consistency and staff welfare.
• Manage inventories of rollstock and corrugator supplies.
• Coordinate with supervisor and Maintenance Superintendent on repairs and preventive maintenance.
