Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. in Ohio seeks a capable supervisor to manage a converting department. You will guide a team of 2–40 staff, uphold quality and safety standards, and coordinate maintenance and material inventories to keep production flowing efficiently.

Candidates with two years of supervisory experience and a high school diploma or GED are preferred; corrugated industry background is a plus. Expect active leadership in meetings, training, and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior corrugated industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise approximately 2–40 people in daily corrugated production safely and productively.
• Maintain quality, efficiency and production levels; communicate standards to staff.
• Report quality concerns to Converting and Plant Superintendent; help set guidelines.
• Maintain inventories of sheets, inks and other converting supplies.
• Coordinate repairs or preventive maintenance with supervisor and maintenance.
• Lead weekly Production/Safety meetings and enforce corrective action when needed.
• Encourage skill development via seminars and college courses; ensure compliance with policies.
