Job summary

Pratt Industries in Cedar Hill, TX is seeking a Converting Supervisor to oversee a team of about eight in daily corrugated production, ensuring quality and efficiency with minimal waste. You will cross-train staff and enforce safety and housekeeping standards while maintaining open communication with leadership.

Responsibilities include managing materials, coordinating with maintenance, and reporting issues to the Plant Superintendent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior corrugated industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise approximately 8 people in daily production of corrugated products.
• Maintain quality, efficiencies, and production levels; communicate standards to staff.
• Lead weekly Production/Safety meetings with department personnel.
• Enforce safety program and good housekeeping; uphold company policies.
• Manage inventories of sheets, inks, and converting supplies.
• Coordinate with supervisor and Maintenance Superintendent on repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Inform upper management of problems affecting department performance.
