Job summary

Veritiv is seeking a Corrugated Sales Specialist to support field sales in growing and closing profitable corrugated packaging solutions. You will provide expertise to field reps, create value through custom designs, and identify cost savings to improve packaging processes.

This role aligns with the group strategy to increase profitability, growth, and reduce packaging costs. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience, knowledge of fiber-based packaging, and a willingness to travel

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of related job experience.
• Experience with fiber-based packaging (paperboard, corrugated, laminated substrates) is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% to support field sales.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present technical proposals showing how Veritiv's products meet customer needs and integrate with their systems.
• Support unit sales through pre-sales and post-sales technical consulting; understand customer business and product needs.
• Visit and survey major customers and prospects facilities; develop cost-reduction options and present concepts to customers.
• Maintain corrugated and folding carton sales pipeline with opportunities to achieve growth objectives in the assigned territory.
• Develop new business in the geography by targeting key accounts with sales managers and field reps.
• Collaborate with Design Centers, Sales Managers, and other teams to increase profitable sales and reduce costs.
