Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Corrugated Machine Operator in New York to safely operate and assist production machines, participate in setup, run at capacity, and help improve throughput. You will follow GMPs, quality procedures, and safety rules, maintain housekeeping, and cross-train on other machines.

A high school diploma or GED is required; six months manufacturing experience preferred; lift truck license may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: 6 months manufacturing experience.
• Experience in packaging industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and participate in safety committees.
• Assist Machine Operator to maximize equipment utilization.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and report maintenance needs.
• Record production and quality data accurately.
• Cross-train on other machines when needed.
