Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a 3rd Shift Corrugator Supervisor in New York to lead 7-14 employees in producing quality corrugated board safely and efficiently. A key duty is cross-training staff in critical roles to strengthen operations.

You will supervise daily production, maintain inventories, and collaborate with plant leadership on maintenance and safety programs. A high school diploma and 2 years of supervisory experience are preferred, with corrugated industry experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, quality, efficiency, and production levels as set by management.
• Report quality concerns to Plant Manager and Quality Manager; assist in setting quality guidelines.
• Foster high morale by fairness, consistency, and attention to employee concerns; maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain inventories of roll stock and corrugator supplies.
• Coordinate with other supervisors and Plant/ Maintenance Managers on repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Inform upper management of problems affecting department performance.
• Enforce corrective actions and conduct weekly Production/Safety meetings.
• Communicate across shifts to avoid issues; pursue employee skill development.
• Implement and uphold company policies, safety programs, and good housekeeping.
• Flexible to work occasional weekends; perform additional duties as needed.
