Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a General Laborer in the United States (New York area) for full-time, year-round work in our corrugating department. You will be trained as a machine operator, machine assistant, or forklift driver to fill vacant positions.

Overtime and weekend shifts may be required based on business needs. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Following directions under limited supervision.
• Ability to learn manufacturing principles and practices.
• Performing basic mathematical calculations and read a tape measure.
• Lifting and loading materials.
• Complying with safety and operational guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• As General Laborer you will be trained in our corrugating department as machine operator, machine assistant/helper and/or forklift driver to fill vacant positions.
• Candidate must have some flexibility to work overtime including weekends based on business needs.
• Candidates must also have experience and/or willingness/ability to operate and/or learn a variety of machinery including forklift equipment.
