Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a General Laborer for full-time, year-round employment in our New York facility. You will be trained in the corrugating department as a machine operator, machine helper and/or forklift driver to fill vacant positions.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and prior manufacturing exposure is preferred. Shift flexibility, overtime, safety, and teamwork are essential, with excellent attendance and organizational skills valued.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and operate manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

Responsibilities

• Be trained in corrugating department as machine operator, machine assistant, and/or forklift driver.
• Follow supervisor directions and maintain productivity.
• Operate and learn a variety of machinery including forklift equipment.
• Attend periodic safety and process training.
